PES Academy and general policy overview
The PES Academy is a Private Equity Support (PES) online learning platform that offer a comprehensive catalog of courses designed to cater to every skill level — from enthusiastic beginners to seasoned professionals. Each course is meticulously crafted to bridge knowledge gaps and enhance your skill set, ensuring you are equipped to meet the challenges of today's dynamic work environment. Our seasoned instructors bring real-world insights and expertise, ensuring a rich and engaging learning journey.
About the policy
The Academy is designed to operate on a subscription-based model. This policy applies to all subscription plans, including monthly, quarterly and annual packages. Refunds will only be issued in specific circumstances as outlined below and in accordance with the eligibility criteria. Our goal is to ensure transparency and fairness in all transactions.
Eligibility for refunds
Refund requests will be considered under the following conditions:
1. Technical issues
If you encounter persistent technical difficulties that prevent you from accessing the platform or its content, and these issues remain unresolved after 48 hours of reporting them to our support team.
Valid proof of such issues must be provided (e.g., error messages, screenshots).
2. Subscription cancellation period
Monthly subscriptions- A refund will be granted if a cancellation request is made within 7 days of purchase, provided that less than 10% of the course content has been accessed.
Quarterly and annual subscriptions- A full refund will be issued if the cancellation request is made within 14 days of purchase and less than 10% of the course content has been accessed.
3. Duplicate payments
If a duplicate payment is made due to a technical error, the excess payment will be refunded after verification. Valid proof of duplicate payment must be provided.
4. Non-refundable circumstances
Refunds will not be provided under the following conditions:
Dissatisfaction with course content or teaching styles if the material matches the descriptions and previews available prior to purchase.
Failure to access the platform due to user-related issues, such as insufficient internet connectivity, incompatible devices or lack of requisite software.
Refund requests made beyond the specified cancellation period for the subscription plan.
Subscriptions purchased during promotional periods or at discounted rates, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the promotion terms.
Refund claims without valid proof under the refundable circumstances in notes 1 to 3 above.
Refund request process
To request a refund, subscribers must submit a written request via email to connect@privateequity-support.com or through the designated refund form on the platform.
Include the following details in your request:
- Subscriber’s full name and registered email address.
- Subscription details
- Reason for the refund request, along with supporting evidence.
Our team will review your request within 15 business days of receipt and if your request is approved, an email communication detailing this will be send to the subscriber. The refund will then be processed within 15 business days, and the amount will be credited to the original payment method used during the purchase or any other verifiable method that the subscriber provides.
If the request for refund is declined due to failure in meeting above eligibility criteria, the subscriber has to a maximum of 30 days to appeal, after which the issue is closed.
Partial refunds
In cases where partial refunds are applicable (e.g., early termination of long-term subscriptions), the amount refunded will be prorated based on the subscription duration used and the percentage of content accessed.
Exceptions
PES reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy in extraordinary cases, such as medical emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances, at its sole discretion.
Amendments to the refund policy
This policy is subject to periodic reviews and updates to reflect changes in our services or operational requirements. Any changes will be communicated to subscribers through email notifications and updates on the platform 14 days before the change takes effect.
